The Alcoa and Landsvirkjun Sustainability Initiative was launched in the early stages of the construction of the Karahnjukar dam and the Alcoa Fjardaál smelter in East Iceland.
It is presently (2010) in its final and ongoing stage, which means measuring the companies' performance and publishing the outcomes on this page.
